Las comunidades en la educación ofrecen una serie de beneficios que ayudan a promo-ver el óptimo desarrollo académico y social, ya que fomentan el autoaprendizaje ha-ciendo que los estudiantes se vuelvan más reflexivos y puedan generar nuevos intereses educativos. Actualmente existen herramientas tecnológicas que soportan estos procesos, las cuales se clasifican en redes verticales y horizontales, no obstante, estas presentan limitaciones para la generación de comunidades. Por otra parte, existe un concepto de-nominado red completa, el cual unifica las mejores cualidades de las redes verticales y horizontales, permitiendo una generación óptima de comunidad. Sin embargo, el limi-tante de este tipo de red es que no existen implementaciones en el mercado.
Por lo anterior, el objetivo de este trabajo de grado es crear un prototipo funcional que permita generar comunidades educativas, acotando un nuevo tipo de sistema llamado CLCMS (Community Learning Content Management System), el cual utiliza el concepto de red completa. Este prototipo permite generar comunidades con múltiples institucio-nes, a través de estructuras de agrupamiento y de comunicación. Permitiendo definir grupos de usuarios y sus relaciones por medio de jerarquías. Adicionalmente, tiene un componente de control de acceso que puede aislar el contenido académico en diferentes niveles, publico para la comunidad o privado para la institución. Con las características mencionadas anteriormente, CLCMS permite generar vínculos sociales fácilmente, apo-yando el proceso de generación de comunidades académicas.
Abstract
Education communities offer a series of benefits that help promote optimal academic and social development, because they promote self-learning, making students more reflective and able to generate new educational interests. Currently there are technologi-cal tools that support these processes, which are classified into vertical and horizontal networks, however, these present limitations for the generation of communities. On the other hand, there is a concept called complete network, which unifies the best qualities of vertical and horizontal networks, allowing optimal community generation. Neverthe-less, the limitation of this type of network is that there are no implementations on the market.
Therefore, the goal to this degree work is to create a functional prototype that allows the generation of educational communities, delimiting a new type of system called CLCMS (Community Learning Content Management System), which uses the concept of a com-plete network. This prototype makes it possible to generate communities with multiple institutions, through grouping and communication structures. Allowing to define groups of users and their relationships through hierarchies. Additionally, it has an access con-trol component that can isolate academic content at different levels, public for the community or private for the institution. With the characteristics mentioned above, CLCMS allows you to easily generate social links, supporting the process of generating academic communities.
