Diseño e implementación de un sistema para la estimación de la estabilidad postural: relación EEG - Presión plantar

El punto focal de este proyecto hace parte de la linea de investigación de tecnologías emergentes en rehabilitación del grupo de investigación BASPI-FootLab y esta dirigido a las personas que padecen de enfermedades crónicas como la diabetes y sufran de afecciones que comprometan la conservación de la estabilidad postural, y por lo tanto impliquen un riesgo de caída. De manera que a través de la implementación de técnicas de procesamiento de señales, en conjunto con métodos de aprendizaje de maquina, se busca establecer algún tipo de relación entre las señales electroencefalografía y estabilometría.

Abstract

The focal point of this project is part of the research line of emerging technologies in rehabilitation of the BASPI-FootLab research group and is aimed at people suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes and suffer from conditions that compromise the maintenance of postural stability, and therefore imply a risk of falling. So that through the implementation of signal processing techniques, in conjunction with machine learning methods, it seeks to establish some type of relationship between electroencephalography and stabilometry signals.
