Resumen

La siguiente investigación indaga sobre la participación femenina en el sistema productivo de cacao (Theobroma cacao L) desde la Red de Mujeres de la Asociación de Campesinos de Arauca (ACA) en el municipio de Arauquita, departamento de Arauca. Se hizo bajo el enfoque epistemológico feminista con la intención de describir y analizar las relaciones de género en el hogar y en el sistema productivo (Molteberg y Bergstrom 2000), los métodos de recolección de información implementados fueron entrevistas semiestructuradas y ficha de caracterización del sistema productivo de cacao. Se comprueban los roles que cumplen las mujeres en el hogar y en el sistema productivo de cacao, y que es a través de la Red que se promueve una identidad de mujer campesina asociada a sistemas productivos que visibiliza el papel de la mujer rural. También se manifiesta que al pasar de los años se pueden observar transformaciones generacionales en la participación y toma de decisiones desde el género asociados a la propiedad de la tierra, la participación en los procesos de decisión al interior de la finca y la transformación de los roles de género a nivel hogar.

Abstract

The following investigation inquire the female participation in the cocoa (Theobroma cacao L) productive system from the Women's Network of the Arauca Farmers Association (ACA) in the municipality of Arauquita, department of Arauca. It was done under the feminist epistemological approach with the intention of describing and analyzing gender relations in the home and in the productive system (Molteberg and Bergstrom 2000), the information collection methods implemented were semi-structured interviews and a characterization sheet of the productive system. of cocoa. The roles that women play in the home and in the cocoa productive system are verified, and that it is through the Network that an identity of peasant women associated with productive systems that makes visible the role of rural women is promoted. It is also stated that as the years go by, generational transformations can be observed in participation and decision-making from the gender associated with land ownership, participation in decision-making processes within the farm and the transformation of roles gender at the household level.
