Este proyecto nace desde un deseo de demostrar que la Literatura Infantil requiere un análisis literario. Es así como se propone un análisis comparativo de las obras de dos autores canónicos en lo que se refiere al mundo infantil: el cuento de "La Sirenita" de Hans Christian Andersen y la película del mismo nombre de Walt Disney Studios. A través de la investigación se busca ampliar la discusión sobre cuento y película desde el cambio en la noción de infancia y cómo esto afecta desde la producción de las obras, abordando estas desde la teoría literaria construida alrededor de la Literatura infantil. Esta comparación se da desde los aspectos narratológicos de las obras, así como desde el tratamiento de los personajes, particularmente el de la bruja del mar, y la influencia de estos en aspectos como el final feliz.
Abstract
This project was born from a desire to demonstrate that Children's Literature requires a literary analysis. Thus, a comparative analysis of the works of two canonical authors regarding the world of children is proposed: the tale of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen and the film of the same name from Walt Disney Studios. Through the investigation, it is sought to broaden the discussion about the tale and the film from the change in the notion of childhood and how this affects the production of the works, addressing these from literary theory built around Children's Literature. This comparison is given from the narratological aspects of the works, as well as from the treatment of the characters, particularly that of the sea witch, and their influence on aspects such as the happy ending.
