Violence in Colombia understood by Members of the National ArmyResumen
En el marco de conflicto armado interno que tiene lugar en Colombia y de las diferentes narrativas que se construyen en la sociedad colombiana sobre la violencia, este artículo pone en contexto a los actores y víctimas de este fenómeno para darle voz a uno de ellos representado por tres miembros activos del Ejército Nacional, en diferentes grados: oficial, suboficial y soldado profesional. A partir de entrevistas individuales, la investigación aporta al conocimiento de la naturaleza de la violencia en Colombia indagando por la conceptualización de este fenómeno por parte de miembros del Ejército Nacional. Como resultados se presentan puntos en común con investigaciones anteriores y aspectos del fenómeno pertinentes para el desarrollo de investigaciones futuras que en conjunto tocan temas como: afectaciones psicológicas a miembros del Ejército; los límites de la violencia; el rol del Ejército con sus soldados y los factores que generan violencia en el país.
Abstract
Within the framework of the internal armed conflict that takes place in Colombia and the different narratives that Colombian society constructs about violence, the article puts the actors and victims of this phenomenon in context to give voice to one of them represented by three active members of the National Army of different ranks: officer, non-commissioned officer and professional soldier. Based on individual interviews, the research contributes to the knowledge of the nature of violence in Colombia, investigating the conceptualization of this phenomenon by members of the National Army. As results, points in common with previous investigations and relevant aspects of the phenomenon are presented for the

development of future investigations that together address topics such as: psychological affectations to members of the Army; the limits of violence; the role of the Army with its soldiers and the factors that generate violence in the country.
