Ligeros, libres y autónomos. Nómadas digitales, habitando un mundo globalizado y en movimiento

Viajar, aventurarse, conocer, simplemente, vivir una vida que nunca para de moverse. Este es el nomadismo digital, una nueva apuesta de vida en la que día a día millones de personas se están sumando. Trabajar y viajar al mismo tiempo nunca antes fue tan sencillo, y hoy en día el nomadismo digital da prueba de ello. Esta investigación se centró en tres partes esenciales: la primera, buscó dar una descripción acerca de lo que es un nómada digital, aspectos demográficos, los trabajos a los que se dedican y las motivaciones que los mueven. La segunda parte, buscó analizar de qué manera, la globalización, el individualismo, el consumo y la inestabilidad de la vida actual, influye en la construcción de identidades móviles. Y finalmente, la tercera parte, estuvo dedicada a entender la relación entre estos individuos móviles y los espacios por los que transitan.

Abstract

Traveling, adventuring, exploring, simply living a life that never stops moving. This is digital nomadism, a new way of life that millions of people are joining every day. Working and traveling at the same time has never been so easy, and today digital nomadism is proof of this. This research focused on three essential parts: the first sought to give a description of what a digital nomad is, demographic aspects, the jobs they do and the motivations that move them. The second part sought to analyze how globalization, individualism, consumption and the instability of today's life influence the construction of mobile identities. And finally, the third part was dedicated to understanding the relationship between these mobile individuals and the spaces they travel through.
