El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo esgrimir los principales factores que influyen en la empleabilidad de los migrantes venezolanos en Colombia. Con esto en mente, en primer lugar, realizará una breve contextualización sobre la oleada migratoria
venezolana que ha recibido Colombia desde el año 2018. Con posterioridad, se hará un análisis sobre las principales barreras que se presentan de manera generalizada en el país, para así vislumbrar de forma más específica cuáles se evidencian
respecto de esta población y los mecanismos implementados para fomentar su empleabilidad hasta el día de hoy. Por último, se expondrán conclusiones donde se pretende presentar posibles soluciones al problema que afecta, en la actualidad, a un sector poblacional extranjero y, usualmente, vulnerable como los migrantes venezolanos.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to outline the main factors that influence the employability of Venezuelan migrants in Colombia. With this in mind, first of all, a brief contextualization will be made of the Venezuelan migratory wave that Colombia has received since 2018. Subsequently, an analysis will be made of the main barriers that are generally present in the country, in order to glimpse more specifically which ones are evident with respect to this population and the mechanisms implemented to promote their employability to date. Finally, conclusions will be presented where it is intended to present possible solutions to the problem that currently affects a foreign and usually vulnerable population sector such as Venezuelan migrants.
