La presente tesis analiza las representaciones cinematográficas de la construcción de paz en cuatro largometrajes colombianos: Rodrigo D. No futuro de Víctor Gaviria, La sinfónica de los Andes de Marta Rodríguez, Del otro lado de Iván Guarnizo y Los Reyes del Mundo de Laura Mora. El objetivo es explorar cómo el cine colombiano ha abordado no solo las diferentes formas de violencia, sino también los intentos de construcción de paz desde lo individual, colectivo y estatal. A través de un enfoque teórico y empírico, se busca comprender la concordancia entre la representación fílmica de estos procesos y la teoría de la construcción de paz, analizando conceptos como la memoria, la reconciliación, el perdón y la justicia social.
Abstract
This thesis analyzes the cinematic representations of peacebuilding in four Colombian feature films: Rodrigo D. No Futuro by Víctor Gaviria, La Sinfónica de los Andes by Marta Rodríguez, Del Otro Lado by Iván Guarnizo, and Los Reyes del Mundo by Laura Mora. The objective is to explore how Colombian cinema has addressed not only the different forms of violence but also the attempts at peacebuilding from individual, collective and state perspectives. Through a theoretical and empirical approach, the study seeks to understand the alignment between the filmic representation of these processes and peacebuilding theory, analyzing concepts such as memory, reconciliation, forgiveness, and social justice.
