| dc.description.abstract | El autor justifica plantear este interrogante dado el recurrente descrédito de la metafísica ante el hombre corriente y el científico. Su respuesta contundente: no sólo es posible sino necesaria. La metafísica es una reflexión capaz de acercarse al sentido espiritualmente actuado del ser humano. La cultura occidental actual -mayormente positivista- es una cultura de la irresponsabilidad: no nos compromete. La metafísica, en cambio, atestigua la responsabilidad y la libertad del pensamiento. Así esté siempre condicionada por las diferentes culturas históricas en que surge, una metafísica ("una") será siempre necesaria. Soñar en la existencia de "la" metafísica (una única posible) sería estéril. Sin embargo, ¿cómo podrían tener sentido "unas" metafísicas, si no hay una forma común de metafísica? Puesto que "unas" metafísicas son necesarias, "la"metafísica tiene que ser posible y seguir siendo sólo eso, posible. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Scientific investigation and common people have discredited metaphysics once again and justify the question author asks for. His solid answer: Metaphysics is not only possible but necessary. Metaphysics is a kind of reflection closely attached to spiritually acted human being meaning. Current Western Culture —mainly positivist— is an irresponsible one: it does not commit us. Metaphysics, instead, bears witness to responsibility and freedom of thought. And, even if it is always conditioned by different historical cultures where it emerges, "some" metaphysics will be always necessary. It would be sterile to dream about a unique metaphysics. However, without a common form of metaphysics, how could several metaphysics have any meaning? Hence, if some of them are necessary, metaphysics (as the only existing one) always has to be a mere possibility. | eng |
