| dc.description.abstract | El derecho del espacio, desde su nacimiento en los años 60, ha ofrecido retos jurídicos en diferentes campos. Uno de ellos es el de la responsabilidad por los daños que se causen en el ejercicio de operaciones espaciales, tema de enorme importancia si se tienen en cuenta los riesgos que éstas implican, la alta tecnología que se utiliza y los elevados recursos que se invierten. Distintas disposiciones (especialmente a nivel internacional) han permitido establecer unas reglas básicas; sin embargo, por estar en constante cambio, existen sectores en los que la regulación es insuficiente o, incluso, inexistente, lo que implica un interesante desafío de cara al futuro. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | Since the beginning, in the sixties, space law has offered legal challenges in different domains. One of them is the liability for the damages caused during space operations, subject of huge relevance taking into account the risks, the investments and the high technology typical from this kind of activities. Several provisions had led to the establishment of some ground rules; nevertheless, constant changes keep opening new areas where regulation is insufficient or even inexistent, which implies new challenges facing the future. | spa |
