dc.description.abstractA partir de las funciones asignadas por el legislador a los notarios públicos en materia de declaración de posesión regular y de declaratoria de prescripción adquisitiva de dominio de vivienda de interés social, los autores realizan un estudio de la figura de los notarios y de la institución notarial como tal, para analizar el rol que cumplen dichas personas en el ordenamiento jurídico colombiano, con el fin de poder determinar cuáles funciones judiciales pueden asignársele a los mismos y cuáles no, todo como un producto del proyecto Interpretación y aplicación del Derecho Privado del Grupo de Investigación en Derecho Civil y Comercial de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas de la PontificiaUniversidad Javeriana.spa
dc.description.abstractenglishDue to the new functions assigned to the notaries public in Colombia, relating to the declaration of legal possession and the declaration of positive prescription, the authors analyze the nature of the notary public role, to conclude which judicial functions can be assigned to them.
