dc.description.abstract	El presente ensayo es una investigación que pretende defender que, la normatividad por si sola es ineficaz a la hora de proteger los derechos humanos de las mujeres víctimas de acoso sexual callejero. Lo anterior ya que, aunque en la normatividad nacional e internacional se integra la protección de los derechos humanos de las mujeres, el acoso sexual callejero sigue existiendo como una conducta cotidiana, que tiene como principales víctimas a las mujeres. La normatividad existente no incluye todas las formas de acoso sexual callejero y aquellas que incluye no son sancionadas efectivamente en el sistema de justicia. Finalmente, para que haya una protección efectiva de los derechos humanos de las mujeres víctimas, deben cuestionarse los estereotipos de género arraigados a la cultura que permite la conducta de acoso sexual callejero, además de implementar otras herramientas diferentes a las normativas como la educación para transformar esta realidad.	spa
dc.description.abstractenglish	This article defends the claim that the legal system by itself is inefficient protecting the human rights of women who have been victims of street harassment. Although the national and international legal systems try to integrate the protection of women’s human rights, street harassment continues to exist as a conduct of everyday life, that has women as the principal victims. All forms of street harassment are not fully included in the existing legal systems and those that are, have not been effectively sanctioned in the judicial system. Finally, there is a need for society to question gender-based stereotypes integrated in culture, that permit street harassment and to implement other strategies like education, so that there can be an effective protection of women's human rights.	spa
