Resumo
De acuerdo con la OMS (Organización Mundial de la Salud) la mayoría de las personas puede vivir hasta 60 años y más. El aumento en la esperanza de vida, sumada a las caídas importantes en las tasas de fecundidad, es la causa del rápido envejecimiento de las poblaciones de todo el mundo. Por lo que se toma como referencia la población adulta mayor para investigar las vivencias del adulto mayor en la jubilación en donde se tendrá en cuenta los pensamientos y los sentimientos surgidos antes y durante esta etapa. (Organización mundial de la salud, 2015) Este estudio es de tipo cualitativo, en donde se utilizó la entrevista semi-estructurada, facilitando la recolección de la información para así conocer las vivencias del adulto mayor en la jubilación, en donde a su vez la recolección de los participantes se realizó a través de la técnica bola de nieve. Las categorías surgidas en el análisis de la información en relación a los pensamientos antes de vivir en la etapa de la jubilación, fueron: Pensé que nunca me iba a jubilar y Uno piensa que puede hacer las cosas que siempre quiso hacer en cuanto a sentimientos surgieron tres categorías Ansiedad y ganas de que llegué ese momento , Es una gran oportunidad para uno poder estar libre y Miedo de llegar a esa etapa . Las categorías surgidas respecto a los pensamientos de los adultos mayores durante la jubilación fueron: Uno piensa que ya no sirve y no es útil para esta sociedad porque así te lo hacen ver , Es difícil asimilar el cambio y Yo pienso que ahora van hacer muy pocas las personas que puedan alcanzar la jubilación . En cuanto a sentimientos surgieron las categorías de Tranquilidad porque no hay que volver a trabajar , Decepción porque no es lo que uno espera, Tristeza y vacío porque no disfruta como uno quiere y Felicidad porque cumplí una meta . La jubilación se asimila según la vivencia de cada adulto mayor, para algunos puede ser un cambio positivo ya que ven este tiempo para dedicarse a actividades que durante sus años laborales no lograron hacer, para otros es un cambio drástico y difícil de aceptar.
Abstract
"According to WHO (World Health Organization) most people can live up to 60 years and over. The increase in life expectancy, coupled with significant declines in fertility rates is the cause of the rapid aging of populations worldwide. As referenced by the older population to investigate the experiences of the elderly in retirement where they take into account the thoughts and feelings that emerged before and during this stage. (World Health Organization, 2015) This study is qualitative, where the semi-structured interview was used, facilitating the collection of information in order to learn about the experiences of the elderly in retirement, where in turn the gathering of participants was made through technical snowball. The categories that emerged in the analysis of information in relation to the thoughts before living in the stage of retirement, were: ""I thought I would never retire"" and ""You think you can do things you always wanted to do"" as for feelings they arose three categories ""Anxiety and looking forward to that time,"" ""it's a great opportunity for one to be free"" and ""Fear of getting to that stage."" The categories emerged regarding the thoughts of the elderly in retirement were: ""You think that is no longer useful and not useful for society because that you do see"", ""It is difficult to assimilate change"" and ""I think now they go to very few people can reach retirement. As for feelings emerged the categories of ""Tranquility because there is no going back to work,"" ""Disappointment because it is not what one expects,"" Sadness and empty because not enjoy as you want and ""Happiness because I fulfilled a goal"". Retirement is assimilated by the experience of every elderly, for some it can be a positive change because they see this time to engage in activities during their working years failed to do, for others it is a drastic and difficult to accept change."
