It is not a secret that, currently, multiple companies are involved in delays at some point along their supply chain, producing cost overruns that affect their profitability. Halliburton, an oil services company, is no exception, and is currently presenting significant
delays for multiple reasons, both internal and external. The application of a survey to the employees of the supply chain, together with the meetings with the staff: facilitates, besides, a BPMN process modeling of the process, the creation of a cause-effect
diagram that let identify the main causes of these delays. As a result, we have a lack of measurement of the times of the processes and their impact, a lack of standardization and ignorance of the processes from de purchase order to the delivery of the product.
Once these causes have been identified, the process mining methodology together with the optimization of supply chain processes, and the creation of a dashboard, will let to discover the opportunities to improve and work on that, in ordei to improve the variables
such as productivity and profitability, at the same time as the benefits of cost reduction In this way, after interpreting and analyzing the results founded, there will be done a redesign of the supply chain processes, and a simulation of these improvements
