Christian salvation in the light of the moral theology of the Vatican Council IIZusammenfassung
With the foundations of an autonomous morality, a different way of understanding salvation is provided, before presented by a moral established from the norms that must be fulfilled. Starting from the orientations of the Second Vatican Council, the person of Christ returns to centrality in moral theology and, at the same time, the Grace of God takes on greater importance in the life of the person, being the motivation to the person to accept the invitation to possess this gift of God, which is God himself. A salvation that happens to be understood from a fundamental option, option from which each person has the freedom to live it freely and consciously, giving a positive response to the call or vocation received from God. Of course, each subject is responsible for it, and can even reject it. In this way, it is intended to show in this investigation the implications of understanding salvation in the light of an autonomous moral (of the person) according to the second Vatican Council.
