| dc.description.abstract | Este ensayo examina las condiciones que llevaron a las sucesivas elecciones del Presidente Peruano Alberto Fujimori. Este ensayo se centra en el análisis de los siguientes temas: procesos políticos y electorales en la década de 1990, el rol de las Fuerzas Armadas, el rol de los poderes legislativo y judicial y la legislación constitucional de los proyectos autoritarios. El trabajo concluye con un análisis de los eventos que resultaron en la decisión inesperada de Fujimori, en Septiembre de 2000, de renunciar ala presidencia en el año siguiente. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This essay examines the conditions that led to the successive elections of Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori. The essay focuses on the analysis of the following themes: political and electoral processes in the 1990s, the role of the Armed Forces, the role of legislative and judicial powers and the constitutional legislation of authoritarian projects. The wiork concludes with an analisys of the events that resulted in Fujimori's unexpected decision, in September, 2000, to relinquish the presidency next year. | eng |
