| dc.description.abstract | Este ensayo muestra cómo Hegel se opuso a una enseñanza puramente erudita de la filosofía en los gimnasios y universidades, y esboza su propuesta de enseñarla como ciencia, como un saber riguroso y sistemático de conceptos por medio del cual el alma humana se eleva a lo universal. El hombre sólo es lo que es, y sólo podrá llegar a ser lo que desea ser, por medio de la educación como un “segundo nacimiento” al reino del espíritu. La enseñanza de la filosofía no puede quedarse sólo en el estudio de los productos históricos del filosofar, debe familiarizarse con las artes, las ciencias y la religión propia, porque en ellas empezamos a participar de esa sustancia espiritual sin la cual el pensar conceptual queda reducido a mero razonar sofístico. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This paper shows how Hegel was opposed to a purely scholarly teaching of philosophy in gyms and universities, and outlines his proposal to teach it as a science, as a rigorous and systematic knowledge of concepts by which the human soul rises to the universal. Man just is what he/she is, and can only become what she/he wants to be through education as a “second birth” to the realm of spirit. Teaching philosophy cannot remain only in the study of historical products of philosophizing. It should become familiar with arts, sciences and the own particular religion in order to participate in this spiritual substance from beginning to the end. Otherwise, conceptual thinking would be reduced to a mere sophistical reasoning. | eng |
