De Le Corbusier al Unitor: Justino Serralta o un recorrido uruguayo

| dc.description | Cet article propose un regard transversal à une partie de la production architecturale de l’Uruguayen Justino Serralta dans son pays, suite à son stage professionnel à l’atelier parisien de Le Corbusier. Cette production conclut dans le développement d’un système cosmique, philosophique et avec la prétention d’un caractère universel: l’Unitor. Dans le texte, des liens entre cette production –matérielle et intellectuelle– sont insinués, d’après un parcours sommaire à travers la contribution de Serralta à l’un des cabinets architecturaux les plus prestigieux de son époque. La majorité de ce parcours est soutenu par des informations inédites relevées à la Fondation Le Corbusier. L’article présente diverses possibilités d’approfondissement de ces liens, soit depuis des aspects techniques et de composition (un sujet introduit par Nudelman), soit depuis les idéologies et imaginaires sous l’inquiétude plastique de Serralta, sous son activité en tant qu’enseignant et sous ses écrits. Ce dernier courant, tronqué par le décès de l’architecte, manque d’une étude minutieuse à travers l’univers corbusé en; un besoin mis en évidence par ce travail. | fra |
| dc.description.abstract | Este artículo propone una mirada transversal a parte de la producción arquitectónica del uruguayo Justino Serralta en su país, posterior a su práctica profesional en el taller parisino de Le Corbusier. Dicha producción tuvo como colofón el desarrollo de un sistema cósmico, filosófico y de pretendido carácter universal: El Unitor. En el texto se insinúan vínculos entre dicha producción -material e intelectual-, sustentados en un recorrido somero por la contribución de Serralta a uno de los talleres de arquitectura más afamados de su tiempo; recorrido sustentado en su mayoría por información inédita recopilada en la Fondation Le Corbusier - FLC. El artículo presenta posibles vertientes de profundización de esos nexos, bien sea desde los aspectos técnicos y compositivos (materia inaugurada por Nudelman), o bien desde las ideologías e imaginarios que subyacen en su inquietud plástica, su actividad docente y sus escritos. Esta última vertiente, truncada por la muerte del arquitecto, carece de un estudio acucioso a la luz del universo lecorbusieriano, que este trabajo se propone convocar. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | This article offers a general overview of the Uruguayan Justino Serralta’s architectural production in his country, subsequent to his professional practice at Le Corbusier’s Parisian studio. This internship ended by developing a cosmic and philosophic system, with an intended universal nature: The Unitor. The text insinuates links between this production -material, and intellectual-, based on a brief journey through the contribution of Serralta to one of the most famous architecture workshops of its time; travel supported mostly by unpublished information compiled in the Fondation Le Corbusier - FLC. The article presents possible ways of deepening these links, either from the technical and compositional aspects (material inaugurated by Nudelman), or from the ideologies and imaginaries that underlie their plastic restlessness, their teaching activity, and their writings. This last aspect, truncated by the death of the architect, lacks a diligent study in the light of the Lecorbusierian universe, which this work sets out to summon. | eng |
