| dc.description.abstract | Con ocasión del aniversario 160 de la Ley de Sarawak —ley biológica que regula la aparición de nuevas especies—, postulada por Alfred Russel Wallace en la isla de Borneo y publicada en 1855 en su artículo fundacional titulado “On the Law Which Has Regulated the Introduction of New Species”, se ha elaborado este artículo de reflexión sobre los múltiples orígenes de la teoría de la evolución, generalmente atribuida a Charles Darwin. En este se relacionan algunas fuentes históricas que complementan y fundamentan el esquema que se ha denominado comúnmente darwinista, haciendo hincapié en algunos antecedentes en la historia de la ciencia colombiana. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | To mark the 160th anniversary of the Sarawak Law —a biological law that regulates the emergence of new species— postulated by Alfred Russel Wallace on the island of Borneo and published in 1855 in his seminal paper entitled “On the Law Which You Regulated the Introduction of New Species”, we have elaborated on the multiple origins of the theory of evolution, generally attributed to Charles Darwin. We refer herewith some historical sources that complement and underpin the scheme that is commonly called “Darwinian”, with emphasis in selected cases on the Colombian scientific history. | eng |
