| dc.description.abstract | La teología de la liberación latinoamericana privilegió la opción por los pobres en dirección del gran cambio social. Sin embargo, en ese afán por la exigencia de la acción liberadora, relegó la atención a la subjetividad de los sujetos. Esto produjo distanciamientos que pueden explicar lo que algunos llaman el “fracaso de una utopía”. La posibilidad de reconocer esas subjetividades en toda su complejidad y tomarlas en cuenta en el quehacer teológico permitiría una nueva etapa de la teología que espera ser viable en este siglo. | spa |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Latin American Liberation Theology underscored the option for the poor in the direction of the great social change. However, in that urge for liberating action it neglected the attention to the subjectivity of the subjects. This produced tensions that can explain what some people call “the failure of an utopia”. The possibility to acknowledge those subjectivities in all their complexity and to take them into account in theological work would open a new stage of a theology that hopes to be viable in this century. | eng |
